ABOUT JOE

Hailing from central Illinois, where Abraham Lincoln, pumpkins, and cornfields are celebrated, Joe started writing in fourth grade with the very successful One Halloween Night saga (according to an encouraging family, classmates, and teacher). This passion for storytelling took him to Columbia College Chicago, where he studied directing and screenwriting. Joe has made multiple award-winning short films and has written multiple features and shorts. He is also a founder and cohost of Let’s Go To The Movies, a weekly film podcast, with over 200 episodes and counting. Outside of film, Joe enjoys playing piano and collecting vinyls.
